"The facilitators delivered this course extremely well and there teaching styles complimented each others. They were both very clear and engaging when they were talking and providing information. I felt that they delivered sensitive subjects in a supportive manner and they checked in with us regularly to ensure we were okay. I really enjoyed this course and have recommended it to my colleagues and we have four theatre staff already on a waiting list for future dates."

"I really enjoyed the course. We had an excellent group and excellent facilitators. It was educational and helped equip me with the skills needed to support people experiencing poor mental health and mental ill health. I would highly recommend it to many of my peers depending on their clinical roles, as I consider it to be a beneficial course."

"I really wanted to attend this course as I have always had an interest in mental health. I was quite apprehensive and a little anxious as I knew it was an interactive course and I was worried about speaking up in front of people I had not met before. I was very lucky because the group I was in were all really nice people and I did not feel uncomfortable at all. This was massively helped by the instructors. They were kind and welcoming, they worked brilliantly together and made me feel that any questions I asked were not as silly as I thought they were.

I really enjoyed watching the case studies and discussing feedback afterwards. The instructors are very knowledgeable and really helped me to understand different ways to deal with situations I might face as a mental health first aider. They are both very supportive and checked on several occasions if the group were 'ok' or needed a comfort break after discussing difficult situations.

I found this course quite complex and two days is definitely needed to absorb everything. The instructors were fantastic, explaining in full challenging situations and how to handle them and I really enjoyed their expertise. Thank you so much."

"The instructors were friendly, welcoming, and made the, often difficult subject matter much easier to cope with as they were supportive and understanding. They made the course enjoyable and an enriching experience."

"The course was vibrant and inclusive. People were treated with dignity and the level of care for each of us was exemplary."
